Stanisław Stachura set up his business activity in 1990 under the name of Zakład Ślusarski Stanisław Stachura (Metal Workshop Stanisław Stachura) in Mielec, getting an entry in the Polish Register of Business Activities on 8th March under the number 1302.
The core production were components and assemblies for freezing tunnels. Afterwards, STAMET produced components for automated technology for national automotive manufacturer and for an Italian machine tool manufacturer.
In 1995 the Company started business relations with German aerospace company STEMME, producer of motorgliders. The following year STAMET got Approval Certificate as Production Organisation from the Civil Aviation Office (Republic of Poland) according to standards of JAR 21 Subpart G.
The company became the main manufacturer of metal elements in the motorglider STEMME S10. This cooperation made dynamic development of the workshop possible.
In 1998 the name was changed to STAMET Stanisław Stachura.
In 2000 STAMET undertook cooperation with Austrian company DIAMOND AIRCRAFT for production and assembly of parts for light aircrafts. At that time we also started business relations with the French company TMH from TULON, producing parts for machines servicing planes. On the domestic market we began parts production for DWLKK Warszawa for Polish glider PW-5 ‘Smyk
On 5th December STAMET got permission for running business in Special Economic Zone EURO PARK Mielecc (Specjalna Strefa Ekonomiczna EURO PARK Mielec) (number 61/ARP/2000). According to the ARP permission, in 2001 STAMET moved the business into its own new premises with the area of 1000 m2 in Partyzantów 21A Street.
In 2007 STAMET got the concession from the Polish Ministry of the Interior and Administration for manufacturing elements of guns and ammunition, which made it possible to become the supplier for Polish defence industries.
Since 2008 STAMET has been manufacturing the aerospace components for the German company LIEBHERR AEROSPACE.
In years 2008-2009 we began cooperation with such French companies as: JPB Systeme and SAFRAN TRANSMISSIONS SYSTEMS.
In 2010 we also began parts production for LIEBHERR ELEKTRONIK.

Since 2014 STAMET has been a family business whose owners and shareholders are: Stanisław Stachura and his daughters - Dorota Król and Marta Rusin.
In 2017, after a recent workshop expansion, the production area reached 2700 m2.
Currently we are performing parts for the production needs of aerospace concerns such as AIRBUS.
